Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in accordance with the protocol signed between Prof. Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Hany Mostafa Gomaa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, the Critical and Emergency Care Training Program for the nursing staff of the Beni Suef Health Affairs Directorate was launched.
The training program entitled "Critical and Emergency Care," dedicated to the nursing staff of the Beni Suef Health Affairs Directorate, commenced today
This took place in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherine El-Sayed, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Islam Mokhtar, Head of the Critical Care Nursing Department; Dr. Maha Hassan, Director of the Nursing Department at the Directorate of Health Affairs; and faculty members of the Critical Care Nursing Department
The training program is held over two months, two days a week (Thursday and Saturday), for a total of 8 training days. Each training day will have 25 members of the nursing staff, and the program aims to train (200) members of the nursing staff from health units and treatment hospitals
The program aims to enhance the efficiency of nursing staff and qualify them to optimally handle critical and emergency cases according to the latest scientific and professional protocols, thereby contributing to improving the quality of health services provided to patients
On the second day, Saturday, October 25, 2025, participants were trained in integrated airway and catheter care skills. The lectures were delivered by a select group of faculty members from the College of Nursing
