The Training and Technical Support Committee of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University, organized a distinguished scientific seminar entitled:
From Submission to Acceptance: Publishing in High-Impact Journals
The seminar was attended by a select group of faculty members, teaching assistants, and researchers from the universities of Tanta, Damietta, Fayoum, Helwan, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Benha, in addition to participants from other faculties, as part of efforts to support scientific cooperation and the exchange of academic expertise among educational institutions.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Ayman Mohamed El-Ashry, a lecturer in Psychiatric Nursing and Mental Health at the Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, and a member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals. The seminar addressed a number of important topics, most notably:
• The steps of scientific publishing from submission to acceptance
• How to choose journals with a high impact factor
• Types of research rejection and how to deal with them
• Standards of scientific research quality and the foundations of designing robust studies
• Identifying research gaps and developing innovative ideas with scientific value. The seminar also witnessed fruitful interaction and rich scientific discussions between the attendees and the presenter, which contributed to enhancing the international publishing skills of researchers and supporting the quality of scientific output.
